Flexible Makeup Options

Travel plans and busy schedules are no problem! We offer several easy ways to catch up on missed classes:

 

  • Musical Playdates: A fantastic and fun way to get in a makeup! Let us know the day you'll be missing and which playdate you'd like to attend. Note: Spots are limited, so send in your requests ASAP before they fill up!
  • Other Weekly Classes: Schedule a makeup in another class time easily via our online scheduler.
  • Bring a Guest: Another great option is to bring a friend or a sibling to join your regularly scheduled class.

Music Together: Maracas Song Collection

Your children will love the energy of this collection! Songs include the American children’s song, "Ha Ha This a-Way" made famous by legendary blues guitarist Huddle Ledbetter (aka "Lead Belly"), the enchantingly rhythmic "Al citrón," based on a traditional Latin American children's game, and "'Bout My Friends," sure to have everyone dancing to its funky blues. In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes recordings and materials for you to use at home.

Music Together: Elephant Song Collection

The Elephant Rhythm features triple-meter drumming patterns inspired by the traditional social dance from Mali known as Suku. We'll enjoy dramatic play in "Elephant Stampede," and all kinds of musical fun with our version of the classic, “Skinnamarink” (new this winter!). We'll also learn a Gaelic children's song called "Dilín ó Deamhas" and, of course, have a blast doing "The Elephant Dance"! All the songs in this collection have been chosen and arranged specifically to support each student's music development.

Unlock Communication In: Sing, Sign & Learn Classes

Connect with your child and celebrate the winter in our special language and literacy classes! Our program provides parents with practical signing tools and fun activities designed to help children communicate successfully at every stage.

Who Is This For?

This class is perfect for parents and children at any developmental stage:

  • Parents of Babies: Learn signs to help them communicate needs and wants before speech develops, reducing frustration for everyone.

  • Parents of Toddlers: Use the ASL alphabet and letter sounds to accelerate early literacy skills.

  • Parents of Preschoolers: Give your child a jump-start on reading by combining letter sounds to form words and writing with confidence.

We'll be exploring Spring signs and much more this March. Each level offers a unique, age-specific benefit: 

Level 1: Sing, Sign and Speak for Ages 6 to 18 months

This class focuses on easing your baby's frustration and helping them communicate before they can speak! Parents will learn how to use simplified signing strategies to make the process of communicating with your baby easy and successful from day one.

Level 2: Sing, Sign and ABC for Ages 18 months to 3 years

This class focuses on giving toddlers a leg-up on literacy by providing a fun and successful way of teach little ones the initial sounds of the alphabet. Your toddler will discover the letters and create a beautiful keepsake art book they will cherish.

Level 3: Sing, Sign and Read for Ages 3 years to 5 years

With a focus of expanding the skills learned in level 2, your preschooler will start putting sounds together to make words and learn to write those letter too.. Watch your child's confidence grow as they start reading and practice writing their exciting new vocabulary.
