Sing, Sign & Write
Sing, Sign & Write classes are for children who are ready to to take the leap into literacy and writing. These classes are fun for both the seasoned signer as well as children with no past signing experience. In this class your child will explore the world of words while using American Sign Language, music, and play as the tool on their path to literacy. Your child will enjoy using the award winning Handwriting Without Tears program to begin the process of writing in a fun appropriate way as well as starting to blend sounds and read age appropriate books all while having fun! By singing, signing, dancing and even creating letters and words with various materials, we concentrate on giving your child a multi-sensory learning experience with letters and language. It is this type of grounded learning experience which is the foundation needed to truly understand and retain the abstract concepts of letters and words.
